operates regulated iGaming businesses, including online casino brands and an in-house game studio, with teams across Europe and North America.
What you will do
- Lead the modernisation of legacy Java applications in regulated environments.
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native microservices and high-performance applications on AWS.
- Drive cloud migration, DevOps automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and customer data migration.
- Design scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Integrate AI-driven solutions and apply AI to accelerate service refactoring and automation.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and collaborate with product, security, legal, and compliance teams.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience with Java and large-scale, high-performance applications, including Spring Boot.
- Proven experience modernising legacy systems in regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and microservices architecture.
- Strong DevOps experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Experience designing APIs, managing data-driven features, mentoring developers, and using observability tools such as Prometheus or ELK.
- Knowledge of regulatory and security standards, including GDPR, PCI-DSS, or iGaming regulations.
Nice to have
- Experience in iGaming, online casinos, sports betting, or gaming-related fintech.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, serverless technologies, and Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
