AI Engineer (Azure)

Location: Worldwide. Fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work options are available.

Salary: EUR 3,050–5,250 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Design and develop Generative AI solutions with Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI Service.
• Build production RAG platforms, AI copilots, intelligent search, document intelligence, and autonomous AI assistants.
• Optimize vector search, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, hybrid search, and re-ranking mechanisms.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise data platforms and business systems.
• Create evaluation, monitoring, observability, LLMOps, and MLOps frameworks using Azure-native tooling.
• Deliver secure, compliant, production-ready AI solutions while optimizing quality, latency, and cost.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 1.5–2 years of hands-on production experience with LLM and Generative AI solutions.
• Strong Python development skills and experience with REST APIs, Docker, and Git-based workflows.
• Production experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval optimization.
• Knowledge of LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AI evaluation frameworks, guardrails, observability, Azure networking, and security.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with AKS, Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure Data Lake.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, agent orchestration, document intelligence, and OCR.
• Telecom industry experience and work in regulated environments with data residency requirements.
• Microsoft AI certifications, such as AI-102, and experience with customer analytics, recommendation engines, Next Best Action, or Collection Intelligence.
