Sourcing Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Evaluate the technical complexity of parts and components for sourcing and manufacturing decisions.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and project documentation.
• Identify suitable manufacturing capabilities and providers for complex projects.
• Review quotation content for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with customer requirements.
• Clarify technical requirements with clients and manufacturing providers and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, sales, and operations teams while sharing technical knowledge and supporting junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Higher technical education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment involving complex products, parts, or components.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, part specifications, and component complexity.
• Experience with suppliers, manufacturers, sourcing teams, engineering teams, or technical procurement is preferred.
• English proficiency at B1–B2 level, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
