What you will do
- Develop and implement sourcing plans and strategies for the Airports business unit, support functions, or designated regions.
- Gather market intelligence on business needs, suppliers, and supply markets.
- Advise internal customers and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Select suppliers and negotiate commercial contract terms.
- Identify and manage cost reduction, service quality, risk, and business performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain savings records, ensure purchasing policy compliance, and monitor supplier performance against service levels.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in purchasing.
- At least 3 years of experience developing strategic or custom procurement strategies.
- Qualification in commercial or financial sciences, industrial engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Good English communication skills required.
- Membership in a recognized purchasing professional body is preferred.
