Supply Chain Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Execute MRP planning activities in SAP or other ERP systems, including rescheduling, pull-ins, and push-outs.
• Monitor material availability, inventory levels, supply commitments, and production schedules.
• Manage Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders to support timely material delivery.
• Analyze demand versus supply, identify shortages, and drive recovery plans for critical materials.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Logistics, suppliers, and other stakeholders to improve material flow and delivery performance.
• Prepare planning reports and analyze inventory health, supplier performance, safety stock, excess, obsolete, and ageing inventory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline; relevant diploma holders may also be considered.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, material planning, production planning, purchasing, inventory management, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP or other ERP systems, MRP, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, MPS, inventory control, material planning, and production planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis, and planning reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, or other data analytics and reporting tools.
• Experience with inventory reduction initiatives and obsolescence avoidance.
