Electronics Hardware Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop electronics for spacecraft subsystems, especially on-board computing systems, within an interdisciplinary team.
• Select components and perform circuit-level design, simulation, and schematic capture.
• Design multilayer PCBs and create layouts using Altium Designer.
• Perform power integrity, signal integrity, stability, and verification analyses.
• Bring up, test, verify, and debug PCBs using laboratory equipment.
• Conduct testing and space-environment qualification of electronic units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in electronics hardware development.
• Strong knowledge of multilayer PCB design, schematic capture, layout, and board bring-up.
• Strong theoretical and practical experience with mixed-signal electronics and stability analysis, including phase and gain measurements and compensation network design.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and similar laboratory equipment.
• Good English communication skills; submit the CV in English.

Nice to have

• Experience designing high-speed interfaces such as 1 Gbit/s Ethernet, PCI Express, DDR4, LVDS, or SpaceWire.
• Experience with FPGAs, including Zynq Ultrascale+, and VPX-based systems.
• Knowledge of worst-case, reliability, and derating analyses for space applications.
