Focus on resolving non-conformances, improving maintenance strategies, and responding to mechanical issues across a 4-on, 4-off rotating day and night shift roster.
Location: Port Kembla, NSW 2505, Australia. Onsite shift-based role working a 4-on, 4-off rotating roster of 12-hour day and night shifts, Monday through Sunday.

What you will do
- Isolate mechanical equipment and perform maintenance and repairs.
- Inspect quality-critical equipment and fault-find mechanical issues.
- Resolve equipment problems and correct non-conformances.
- Provide feedback on equipment performance and improve maintenance strategies.
- Act as the first point of contact for mechanical issues in the Slabmaking department.
Requirements
- Mechanical fitting or machining trade qualification.
- Experience in a maintenance function.
- Experience working independently and within a manufacturing team.
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
