Account Executive

What you will do

• Present the value of Square to small and medium-sized businesses in the UK.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
• Build and execute pipeline strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support successful customer onboarding.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing to address the needs of the UK market.
• Use a consultative sales approach and identify opportunities to improve team performance.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a qualifying or prospecting role.
• BA/BS degree or relevant professional experience.
• Experience or interest in supporting SMB sellers and using value-based selling.
• Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving deals independently.
• Business development experience, including prospecting or cold calling.
• Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent, with strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
