Field Support Specialist (Bay Area)

Location: Bay Area; fully remote administrative arrangement, but the role requires frequent local travel and in-person fieldwork within an assigned territory.

What you will do

• Conduct in-person visits to locate and contact unresponsive parties, witnesses, and involved individuals.
• Verify residency, occupancy, identities, incident facts, and other claim-related information.
• Inspect scenes and photograph vehicles, property damage, accident locations, and other evidence.
• Identify and help obtain surveillance footage from nearby businesses, residences, and other sources.
• Deliver claim documents or checks, obtain signatures, and retrieve records from medical facilities.
• Prepare accurate reports, photographs, and field notes for Claims Adjusters and Investigators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel frequently and drive throughout the assigned service territory.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and remain professional during challenging interactions.
• Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, cameras, and mobile applications.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Experience in insurance, investigations, customer service, field operations, security, law enforcement, or a related field.
• Experience collecting documentation, photographs, or field observations.
