Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Access to ITAR-controlled products and technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Salary: $27–$28 per hour

What you will do

• Perform complex wiring and electro-mechanical assembly operations to production standards.
• Work from technical drawings, operation sheets, assembly procedures, material specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Move assigned hardware through the appropriate production operations.
• Record, maintain, research, and retrieve production data using paper or computer systems.
• Conduct continuity checks and complete assigned task certifications and practical demonstrations.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of directly related experience or IPC certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills in electrical assembly and the ability to perform intricate wiring work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must comply with US ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and TTM export-control requirements; access to restricted ITAR products and technical data is limited to US citizens and US permanent residents.
