General Cardiology Clinic Nurse Practitioner (MNA)

Location: Tufts Medical Center; in-person clinical work involving direct patient care, patient transfers, procedures, and exposure to clinical environments.

Pay range: $49.68–$82.11 per hour based on full-time equivalent.

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management for an assigned patient caseload.
• Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribe medications, and monitor therapeutic responses.
• Develop, evaluate, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate referrals, consultations, discharge planning, home care, and follow-up services.
• Provide patient and family education, psychosocial support, and individualized care throughout the illness trajectory.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical outcome evaluation, research, continuing education, and preceptorship.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least three years of nursing experience.
• Ability to provide primary and acute care across the patient lifespan according to clinical guidelines and hospital policies.
• Ability to manage prolonged standing and walking, patient transfers, emergency situations, and exposure to clinical hazards.

Nice to have

• Five years of nursing experience.
• Specialty nursing certification.
• Relevant certifications such as ACLS or PALS.
