Supervisor — Mechanical Mining

Location: Haile Gold Mine, South Carolina, United States. Onsite work in a surface mine plant setting with 12-hour shift work; exposure to temperature and humidity extremes and required personal protective equipment.

What you will do

• Supervise structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation projects supporting mine operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor design and construction activities against delivery targets and regulatory standards.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, plans, presentations, and procurement documentation for SMP projects.
• Analyze project data, manage risks, and develop solutions that improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to resolve complex issues and communicate project progress.
• Audit compliance with regulatory requirements and program agreements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in industrial plant construction, power plants, or mine processing plants.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in industrial plant construction, power plants, mine processing projects, or construction management.
• Trade qualification or an engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline.
• MSHA 40-hour training or previous MSHA training.
• Knowledge of SMP construction methodologies, standards, and installation.
• Strong engineering knowledge, planning and prioritization skills, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills.
