What you will do

• Support studies, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Develop instrumentation and control system specifications, data sheets, schematics, and plan drawings.
• Perform fundamental instrumentation and controls engineering calculations under engineer supervision.
• Conduct field surveys, support field reporting, and coordinate with clients, external partners, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Self-check work and contribute to one or more projects simultaneously under supervisor direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in architectural, chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Fundamental experience with instrumentation and control system design and engineering calculations.
• Ability to interface with clients and external partners and coordinate with internal cross-discipline project teams.
• Fundamental discipline design calculations experience under the supervision of an engineer.

Nice to have

• Fundamentals of Engineering Exam registration or completion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Fundamental experience with electrical codes and field surveys of existing conditions.
