Principal Product Manager - API & Integrations (Healthcare)

Location: New York, New York, United States; office-first with in-person collaboration 4 days per week

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Define the API and integration strategy and turn bespoke implementations into scalable platform capabilities.
• Develop reusable data models, connectors, integration patterns, and platform primitives for hubs, specialty pharmacies, claims sources, CRMs, and partner systems.
• Own the public API and webhook layer, including authentication, scoped access, auditability, versioning, and contract testing.
• Build ingestion monitoring, reconciliation, failure states, and self-service remediation for integration issues.
• Create partner ecosystem tooling, documentation, certification, and operating models.
• Align Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Sales around a roadmap balancing customer needs, commercial priorities, and technical foundations.

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling APIs, integrations, data products, or developer platforms for enterprise customers.
• Experience turning bespoke customer work into reusable products that improve launch speed, reliability, adoption, or cost to serve.
• Strong technical judgment across data models, API design, integration patterns, observability, and failure recovery.
• Ability to treat security, privacy, and data quality as core requirements when handling sensitive health data.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across engineering, client IT, commercial teams, executives, vendors, and partners.
• Ability to work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and make product decisions based on measurable outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience building an integration marketplace, app ecosystem, or partner program.
• Knowledge of patient support programs, specialty pharmacy, hub services, claims, or healthcare interoperability standards.
• Experience with Salesforce, Veeva, CRM ecosystems, or iPaaS tooling.
• Experience building developer-facing products or working in regulated environments such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or GxP.
