Business Development Associate

Location: Fully remote within the United States; preference for commuting distance to New York City for initial training.

Salary: $70,000 annual base salary plus $22,500 variable compensation, with on-target earnings of up to $92,500.

What you will do

• Identify prospective clients and initiate sales engagements through cold calling, cold emailing, direct mail, and other channels.
• Qualify inbound sales leads and follow up on marketing-qualified opportunities.
• Map organizational structures at leading brands and retailers to identify prospective users.
• Collaborate with Marketing to improve opportunity conversion.
• Work with Product, Sales, C-level stakeholders, and Strategy professionals using alternative-data research.
• Use sales and productivity tools including Salesforce, Gong, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Asana.

Requirements

• Experience as an SDR through an internship or full-time role.
• Strong interest in developing a career in sales and business development.
• Understanding of and interest in data-driven solutions for brands and retailers.
• Creative, resourceful, empathetic, and able to build strong interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and exercise sound judgment.
• Must not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship.
