Sr. Manager of Operations Product Management

Location: Hybrid role based in San Jose, California; Bellevue, Washington; Wichita, Kansas; Morrisville, North Carolina; Boulder, Colorado; or Santa Clara, California, United States. Most roles include some level of in-office and/or in-person expectations.

Salary: $147,900–$220,000 USD target annual earnings, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Lead the Operations Product Management team across new product introduction, product launches, and sustaining portfolio management.
• Manage program schedules, launch readiness, risks, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional execution.
• Partner with engineering and product management to optimize hardware architecture, cost, testability, manufacturability, quality, and component sourcing.
• Set build plans, drive material readiness, evaluate constraints, and maintain supply continuity throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain product lifecycle management processes, policies, BOM risk analysis, and end-of-life transition plans.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, design-for-excellence practices, and business insights with sourcing, manufacturing, quality, test, and service teams.

Requirements

• Typically 15+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 12+ years with a master's degree, or 10+ years with a PhD; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Degree or equivalent expertise in electrical engineering or computer hardware engineering.
• Experience with electronics, electromechanical design, manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management, and program management.
• Demonstrated team leadership, cross-functional technical expertise, risk mitigation, and executive-level communication.
• Strong understanding of hardware architecture, supply chain, component sourcing, manufacturability, quality, cost, and product support complexity.
• Strong analytics skills with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, plus knowledge of financial analysis, Six Sigma, and continuous process improvement.

Nice to have

• Foundation in enterprise and cloud architectures and solution strategy.
• Experience with P&L, ROI, market, field sales, customer, product roadmap, and product positioning analysis.
