Lead Brand Designer, Web

Location: San Francisco, California, United States. Hybrid work is expected, with office attendance 3+ days per week. hirify.global hub locations include Denver, San Francisco, Nashville, and Santiago; a relocation stipend may be available for relocation to a hub.

Salary: $167,000–$196,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Design polished, brand-forward web experiences across marketing surfaces.
• Own and evolve web brand standards, guidelines, design systems, templates, and reusable assets.
• Scope initiatives and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and timelines.
• Partner with Marketing and Revenue to maintain consistency across web touchpoints.
• Provide creative direction and feedback to designers and contractors.
• Run user testing and present design decisions to peers and senior leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of in-house or agency experience with technology or B2B brands.
• Portfolio demonstrating mastery of typography, layout, storytelling, and art direction.
• Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, plus experience with AI-assisted production tools.
• Deep knowledge of information architecture, usability, accessibility, and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience developing brand standards, managing concurrent projects, and directing freelance or contractor creative work.
• Ability to present and defend design decisions to senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Front-end fluency in HTML and CSS for prototyping or browser-based QA.
• Illustration, photography, or art direction experience.
• Experience in HR tech, trust and safety, or identity verification products.
• Experience mentoring or providing creative direction to designers.
