Designer, Web Presence & Platform (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States; remote work is expected from home, 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from a Stripe office.

Salary: $159,300–$238,900 annual US base salary.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for Link and Bridge web properties, from early strategy through final delivery.
• Turn ambiguous briefs into clear design directions by balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with engineering, product marketing, content design, brand, and product partners.
• Partner with engineers on technical possibilities, implementation, and preserving design intent through launch.
• Develop scalable design systems, patterns, and components for distinct web surfaces.
• Use research insights, user testing, and performance data to guide decisions and improve design quality.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant design experience, ideally in web, product marketing, or brand contexts.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, systems thinking, and independent ownership of complex design work.
• Fluency in layout, typography, color, motion, and interaction design.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to create clear plans from loose briefs.
• Proficiency in Figma, component-based design systems, and AI design tools and workflows.
• Experience designing CMS-driven websites with modular, scalable systems.

Nice to have

• Experience designing event- or campaign-driven marketing experiences.
• Experience with financial products, developer audiences, international or multilingual surfaces, or accessibility requirements.
• Familiarity with front-end development workflows and collaboration with engineers.
• Experience working across multiple web properties or brand identities.
• Experience advancing shared design patterns, systems, or tooling.
