Senior Staff Electrical Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States. Workplace: On-site

Salary: $210,000–$320,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

• Drive architecture, subsystem, and circuit design for next-generation autonomous aircraft and support equipment.
• Design and integrate embedded systems and sensors supporting aircraft autonomy and AI.
• Own component selection, schematic capture, simulation, analysis, verification, debugging, and production release.
• Define technical product requirements, manage project timelines, and deliver project milestones.
• Coordinate with mechanical, embedded, software, manufacturing, supply chain, and firmware teams.
• Lead and mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and develop automated hardware test solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience as an electrical engineer.
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and experience with complex system architectures.
• Experience contributing to and leading product design cycles involving electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
• Demonstrated experience shipping products, overcoming development obstacles, and delivering reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take ownership, make rapid technical decisions, and improve hardware development efficiency and quality.
