Provider Relations Analyst UK - Cigna Healthcare (Healthcare)

Location: Greenock, Scotland, United Kingdom; hybrid working environment with approximately 10–20% travel for provider visits and business reviews.

What you will do

• Manage strategic relationships with an assigned portfolio of hospitals, clinics, and specialist healthcare facilities.
• Develop account plans and lead provider business reviews covering operational performance, service measures, member experience, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyse claims, utilisation, direct payment activity, turnaround times, complaints, and other performance indicators to identify gaps and root causes.
• Coordinate corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to support agreed service standards and contractual obligations.
• Manage provider escalations through to resolution and represent provider feedback within Cigna.
• Work with Claims, Operations, Clinical, Service, Contracting, Commercial, and Network teams to deliver a consistent provider experience.

Requirements

• At least two years of relevant external experience in account management, relationship management, healthcare operations, network management, provider management, or a comparable customer-facing role; internal applicants need at least one year of Cigna experience.
• Strong knowledge of the UK healthcare system.
• Fluent English required.
• Strong analytical capability and experience interpreting operational and performance data.
• Experience with strategic account planning, provider performance management, KPI analysis, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, plus strong communication, negotiation, influencing, organisation, and project management abilities.
