Development Underwriter (Care Sector)

What you will do

• Build and strengthen broker relationships across the territory.
• Identify, win, and develop new business opportunities.
• Represent hirify.global at broker meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
• Underwrite and negotiate new business risks within delegated authority.
• Develop and manage a strong opportunity pipeline while maintaining underwriting discipline.
• Collaborate with underwriting, distribution, and operational teams to develop the Care proposition.

Requirements

• Commercial underwriting experience in the care or social welfare sector.
• Experience working with brokers and developing accounts.
• Proven ability to generate new business and build meaningful relationships.
• Strong negotiation, trading, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-starting approach with confidence working autonomously across a large territory.

Nice to have

• Experience in development underwriting, specialist insurance, broker development, or care-sector underwriting.
• Care-sector experience and a strong commercial growth mindset.
