Land Development Project Manager (Residential Construction)

Location: Palm Bay, Florida, United States. Onsite land development work with possible overnight travel.

What you will do

• Manage vendors and contractors developing raw land for homes, infrastructure, landscaping, parks, and community amenities.
• Review civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, landscape plans, project specifications, contracts, and as-built documentation.
• Oversee development schedules, critical-path activities, inspections, milestones, delays, field purchase orders, and subcontractor coordination.
• Support bidding and procurement by preparing scopes of work, bid packages, quantity calculations, pay scales, and budget information.
• Coordinate with jurisdictional officials, civil engineers, utility companies, consultants, homebuilding teams, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and national codes, company policies, SWPPP requirements, BMPs, and dust-control standards.

Requirements

• At least three years of related experience in residential or civil construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, or hardscape installation and maintenance.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Strong communication, multitasking, attention-to-detail, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel overnight and work directly with field personnel, officials, consultants, utilities, and contractors.
