Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Austin, Texas, US — onsite work with regular driving between construction project sites; occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Manage commercial and industrial construction programs, including budgets, schedules, contract execution, quality, and project closeout.
• Develop scopes of work through site visits, existing-condition reviews, and analysis of client requirements.
• Prepare fixed-price estimates, quantity take-offs, line-item pricing, and non-scheduled item pricing using RS Means or similar tools.
• Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and coordinate subcontractor and vendor proposals, buyouts, and agreements.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, superintendents, and internal team members while supporting business development.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures and applicable requirements, including OSHA and USACE EM 385-1-1.

Requirements

• 4+ years of construction industry experience with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Experience managing multiple projects, subcontractors, and vendors simultaneously.
• Proficiency in detailed fixed-price estimating and RS Means or other published unit price books.
• Strong negotiation, resource management, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is desired but not required.
