Onboarding Specialist (HR)

Location: Taylor, Texas, United States. The role includes in-person orientation for headquarters new hires and virtual orientation for regional participants.

Salary: $67,000–$87,000 per year, with compensation varying by city and state.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary onboarding contact for new hires, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Guide candidates through drug screening, onboarding paperwork, first-day logistics, IT equipment, PPE, and gear requirements.
• Lead biweekly new hire orientation programs in person for headquarters employees and virtually for regional participants.
• Maintain orientation content, onboarding paperwork, tools, and resources for new hires and managers.
• Collect feedback at key onboarding milestones and partner with HR Business Partners to recommend improvements.
• Support talent development, career fairs, internship and externship programs, and corporate engagement events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Human Resources, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, organize priorities, and manage multiple projects.
• Critical thinking, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and a strong focus on employee experience.

Nice to have

• Spanish speaking and writing literacy.
• Experience with Workday.
• Experience facilitating orientations, onboarding programs, or events.
