Registered Nurse Inpatient Post Surgical Care Unit Full Time Nights (MedTech)

Location: 10400 Haligus Rd, Huntley, Illinois, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill post-surgical inpatients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
• Direct and delegate care provided by assistants and other members of the care team.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document care, patient responses, communications, and outcome-focused decisions in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
