Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL; full-time night shift

Salary: USD 36.50–58.40 per hour

What you will do

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based care for an assigned group of patients.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and document individualized nursing plans of care.
• Advocate for patients, promote safety and patient rights, and address concerns throughout the care journey.
• Educate patients, families, students, and team members while collaborating with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
• Delegate and supervise care interventions, communicate accurate handoffs, and escalate situations requiring further intervention.
• Participate in mentoring, professional development, innovation, and unit-based quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school or college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Analytical ability and strong oral, listening, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use a keyboard to enter and retrieve data.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.
