Wire Technician (Third Shift - Onsite)

Location: US - California; on-site plant work required. Third shift: 10:00 pm–6:30 am, Monday–Friday.

Annual base salary: $19.97–$29.95, plus possible shift differential and incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, repair, and perform basic preventative maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain raw material feeds, clear faults and stoppages, and use HMIs to identify and correct process-control issues.
• Prepare materials, run jobs on schedule, and support inventory and quality-management processes through computer systems.
• Clean, inspect, lubricate, and measure machinery and components to maintain required tolerances.
• Follow specifications, work orders, safety procedures, packaging and shipment requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, team leads, and cross-functional groups to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or associate degree.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Proficient English required for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automated machines, tools, maintenance, production processes, measurement instruments, and quality control.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, independence, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for at least 75% of each shift, walk for at least 50%, reach above the shoulder, push and pull, and lift up to 20 lb occasionally.

Nice to have

• Experience assembling, debugging, and optimizing discrete component assembly processes.
• Experience in a start-up production environment.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic, algebra, or geometry.
