Quality Control Inspector I – 2nd Shift (2 pm – 10:30 pm)

Location: On-site manufacturing role in the United States; 2nd shift, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm.

Salary: $21–$24 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform final inspections of switches, component parts, and orders before shipment.
• Inspect work using visual checks, drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring diagrams, and measuring tools.
• Generate and support non-conformance reports, communicate drawing discrepancies to Engineering, and report ISO violations.
• Conduct internal process audits and stop non-conforming processes after notifying the Supervisor.
• Train production personnel and team members on inspection and process-control methods.
• Support customer inspections, prototype reviews, dimensional analysis, and process control chart implementation.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, bills of material, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, Fluke multimeters, and small hand and power tools.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills; ERP experience is desirable.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to perform medium-heavy physical work, including continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
