Operations Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift | 3pm - 11pm PST)

Location: On-site in Orange County, California, United States. Regular presence on the manufacturing floor is required. The role is scheduled for the 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM PST, and may include cross-shift work, overtime, or weekend support.

Estimated pay range: $23.78–$29.72 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, manual fixtures, PCBA test equipment, automation systems, label printers, and other production assets.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to line-down events by repairing or escalating issues to restore safe and efficient operations.
• Complete inspections, functional checks, basic calibrations, equipment adjustments, change-part activities, and replacement of wear components.
• Document maintenance work in logs, work orders, and CMMS systems while maintaining equipment identification, status, and service-history records.
• Support equipment installation, movement, decommissioning, qualification, and validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ execution support.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Facilities teams on investigations, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of maintenance experience supporting manufacturing, automation, test equipment, or similar production equipment.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, basic mechanical and electrical systems, and equipment repair.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures, equipment manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices, controlled documentation, and maintenance records in a regulated environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including accurate electronic maintenance-data entry and use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on-site on the manufacturing floor during the 2nd shift and provide occasional cross-shift, overtime, or weekend support.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in maintenance, electromechanical systems, industrial technology, or a related field.
• Experience in a regulated medical device, FDA, or ISO environment.
• Experience with maintenance work orders, logs, or CMMS systems.
