Practice Experience Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the United States for employees with permanent residency in one of the listed states. Candidates near the Bay Area, New York City, or Knoxville, Tennessee receive priority; these locations follow a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office.

Salary: $56,640–$70,800 USD annually

What you will do

• Own customer satisfaction and maintain effective relationships with assigned medical practice accounts.
• Guide clients through MIPS requirements, including Quality, Promoting Interoperability, and Improvement Activities.
• Help practices gather, analyze, and track healthcare data for accurate performance measurement.
• Educate clinicians and staff on Quality Payment Program changes, CMS regulations, eligibility, and participation criteria.
• Submit MIPS data accurately and on time, and advise on hardship and extreme/uncontrollable circumstances exemptions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, document communications, and improve cross-functional practices using tools such as Google Suite, Salesforce, JIRA, Zendesk, Asana, and Slack.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare management, health informatics, public health, or a related field.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows in healthcare settings, including medical records or claims.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage simultaneous tasks, and set priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas to technical, clinical, and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship and OPT/STEM extension support are unavailable.

Nice to have

• Understanding of CMS quality reporting programs and health information technology terminology.
• Experience guiding clinicians through MIPS reporting and compliance.
• Clinical experience as a nurse, practice administrator, applications analyst, nurse administrator, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of healthcare technology systems, EHR platforms, medical coding, or project management certifications.
• Experience with Salesforce.
