Water & Wastewater Engineer

Location: Draper, Utah, United States; hybrid work between an office and field environment

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year, depending on experience; higher compensation may be considered for candidates with significant additional experience.

What you will do

• Plan and design water and wastewater conveyance and treatment systems.
• Design pipelines, pump stations, and lift stations.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, and planning studies.
• Review construction documents, master plan reports, and technical studies.
• Identify project opportunities and participate in proposal and interview processes.
• Mentor and guide junior-level staff.

Requirements

• At least four years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads, Civil 3D, or AutoCAD; training is available for engineers without OpenRoads experience.
• Ability to work in office and field environments in Draper, Utah, including occasional exposure to weather, noise, hazardous conditions, and bodies of water.
• Ability to perform occasional physical duties, operate a company vehicle, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
