Bridge EIT

Location: Hybrid role based in Wesley Chapel, Jacksonville, or West Palm Beach, Florida; work takes place between office and field environments.

What you will do

• Support bridge inspections, assessments, and rehabilitation design.
• Assist with due diligence, investigations, remediation, improvement, and construction infrastructure projects.
• Review shop drawings and provide field technical support during bridge construction.
• Assist with research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of bridges, signs, walls, and transportation facilities.
• Prepare reports, quantities, and construction cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office and field environment in Florida.
• Ability to work outdoors and around potential heat, humidity, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water as project requirements dictate.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 35 pounds.
