Pharmacist (Sterile Compounding)

Location: Onsite in Norcross, Georgia, United States. Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off, 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., Wednesday–Tuesday rotation, with on-call responsibilities and holidays/overtime as needed. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $114,778.42–$140,500 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and standard operating procedures.
• Review orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing.
• Resolve order discrepancies and issues with customer pharmacy personnel.
• Perform quality control activities and participate in the continuous quality improvement program.
• Troubleshoot equipment, order supplies, and maintain inventory.
• Assist with pharmacy operations and supervise IV technicians, interns, and support personnel when assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or PharmD.
• Valid Georgia pharmacist license required.
• One or more years of related experience preferred; new PharmD graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of professional pharmacy practices, procedures, theories, and principles.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and resolve complex problems using professional judgment.
• Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
