Senior PMO Manager

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid remote/in-office role

What you will do

• Lead PMO governance across strategic projects and transformation initiatives.
• Oversee large-scale, cross-functional program delivery, including timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Establish project management standards, methodologies, tools, reporting frameworks, and benefits-realization processes.
• Prepare executive reporting, facilitate steering committee meetings, and support decision-making with clear governance forums.
• Manage portfolio risks, dependencies, issues, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, financial performance, and portfolio prioritization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of project, program, or PMO leadership experience.
• Experience managing large-scale transformation, technology, or business change initiatives.
• Experience working in a complex global or multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience presenting to senior executives and steering committees.

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with digital transformation, cloud migration, ERP, HR, Finance, or technology programs.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Clarity, Smartsheet, or Planview.
• Knowledge of financial services, data, analytics, software, or technology sectors.
