W Series Vehicle Scheduler (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 per year, plus potential stock options and/or long-term cash awards

Commercial space infrastructure is being developed in-house, including pharmaceutical processing payloads, reentry capsules, heat shields, and satellite buses.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated master schedules for the W-Series vehicle fleet using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
• Translate engineering, integration and test, supply chain, and production scope into executable plans aligned with budget and technical objectives.
• Identify critical paths, near-critical activities, schedule drivers, risks, impacts, and recovery options.
• Lead weekly schedule updates, status collection, forecasting, baseline development, re-baselining, and engineering change management.
• Support monthly earned value metrics covering mission-related spend and recurring and non-recurring engineering labor.
• Improve scheduling processes through standardization, automation, quality checks, audit-ready schedules, and program review support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with an emphasis in project management or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in mission, space vehicle, or production scheduling.
• Expertise with schedule management tools, including Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.
• Proficiency with manufacturing resource planning tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.
• Must be a U.S. person and lawfully authorized to work in the United States because of ITAR-controlled technology access.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-paced aerospace or technology startup environment.
• Background in space or aviation hardware production.
• Familiarity with streamlined earned value management methods and tools.
