Automotive Tire Technician Full Time $1000 Sign on Bonus

Location: Coventry, Rhode Island, United States; onsite tire-bay work

What you will do

• Install, mount, dismount, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
• Assist members with selecting and purchasing tires, including verifying vehicle tire sizes.
• Provide service at the tire desk and complete tire-bay scheduling, sales, and service documentation.
• Maintain tire-bay equipment, inventory, displays, waiting areas, and safety standards.
• Dispose of tires and fill propane tanks when certified under DOT requirements.
• Follow club policies, support other departments as needed, and maintain regular full attendance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong interpersonal skills and basic computer skills, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds with assistance and perform continuous standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Prior tire installation experience is preferred.
