Site Supervisor

Location: Washington, DC, United States. Day shift with variable Monday–Friday schedule; some travel may be required.

Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily activities for employees and temporary staff within the assigned program.
• Train, supervise, instruct, and evaluate employees on tasks, policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Conduct quality, service, sanitation, equipment, and safety inspections, including OSHA compliance checks.
• Track equipment maintenance, repairs, supplies, inventory, attendance, training, inspections, and performance metrics.
• Prepare pass-down, weekly, and monthly reports and communicate personnel or customer issues to management.
• Address at-risk behavior immediately and recommend corrective actions or improvements.

Requirements

• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, training, time management, problem-solving, presentation, and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of database, internet, spreadsheet, and word-processing software.
• Ability to understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and write routine reports.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds; a valid driver’s license or forklift certification may be required.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish skills.
• Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks.
