Automotive Service Estimator / Advisor (Automotive)

Location: 9597 U.S. Highway 90, Daphne, Alabama, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–6:00pm; weekends off.

What you will do

• Build digital vehicle inspections and accurate repair estimates.
• Source parts, reconcile incoming and returned parts, and coordinate with vendors.
• Communicate with technicians about inspections, proposed repairs, required parts, and repair specifications.
• Update job-board promise times and repair-status categories.
• Advise customers throughout the repair process, explain recommended solutions, and prepare phone estimates.
• Manage store workflow, support customer service activities, and shuttle customers as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive customer service, service writing, advising, estimating, or sales.
• Current driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the insurance carrier.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and automotive store applications.
• Dependability for a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday, occasionally lift over 50 lbs., and maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume environment.
