Mobile Phlebotomist, PRN

Location: Westerly, Rhode Island, United States; mobile work at local company health screening events. Morning availability Monday-Friday is required.

Salary: $27-$32 per hour

What you will do

• Perform and record biometric measurements, including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI.
• Collect blood samples through fingersticks and venipuncture in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing and maintain laboratory transaction records.
• Set up and break down portable blood draw and biometric screening stations.
• Transport supplies to and from events, lifting up to 20 pounds when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current national phlebotomy certification, an accredited phlebotomy program with hands-on externship, or qualifying recent blood-draw experience is required.
• Experience with venipuncture and/or fingersticks, manual blood pressure cuffs, blood sample collection, and biometric testing.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Reliable transportation, computer and internet proficiency, professional credentialing, and the ability to pass a full background check.
• Availability for PRN, event-driven work on weekday mornings is required.

Nice to have

• At least one year of health screening or phlebotomy experience.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
