Phlebotomist Part Time (Medtech)

Location: California, United States; primary site at 499 East El Camino Real, Encinitas, CA 92024. Work is performed onsite in a patient service center or client office, with travel to additional sites when needed.

Pay range: $23.00–$33.00 per hour, plus potential quarterly performance incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs.
• Enter patient information and process billing details and payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid California state-issued phlebotomy license, or an application filed with the California Department of Health at the time of hire may meet the requirement.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven record of customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision and work overtime when needed.
• Availability for two-week training in California.

Nice to have

• At least one month of phlebotomy experience.
• Current or prior hirify.global experience.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; rotating Saturdays may be required.
