Data Scientist I (AI)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; four days in the office Monday through Thursday and one remote day on Friday

Salary: $91,500–$104,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Build scalable analytics products with Python, SQL, Looker, and Looker Studio.
• Develop Google Cloud Composer infrastructure for data loading, transformation, model execution, and dashboard updates.
• Perform statistical analysis on large datasets and produce forward-looking business projections.
• Enhance demand forecasting models and create segment-level performance projections.
• Design scalable data structures for monitoring inventory KPIs such as turns, availability, penetration, and positioning.
• Communicate analytical findings with computer science, operations research, operations, product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, operations research, mathematics, or economics, with a strong academic record.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure complex and ambiguous modeling problems.
• Daily expertise with Python and relational databases using SQL, with a record of developing insights that lead to action.
• Experience working with large datasets, identifying trends, making recommendations, and delivering outcomes.
• Interest in complex supply-chain business problems, from problem definition and business-case development through implementation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without hirify.global visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience designing, building, and owning reliable, scalable data pipelines end to end.
• Curiosity about artificial intelligence and its applications in analytics and business.
