Senior Data Scientist

Location: New York City, hybrid

Salary: $130,000–$142,000 per year, plus eligible RSU grant and variable annual bonus.

hirify.global provides a commerce partnership marketing platform for managing affiliate, influencer, content publisher, brand ambassador, and customer referral partnerships.

What you will do

• Lead modeling research across attribution, identity resolution, tracking quality, and incrementality measurement.
• Design experiments and evaluate the measurable business impact of attribution and identity initiatives.
• Build, deploy, test, and monitor production-grade measurement pipelines, including system health monitoring and SLOs.
• Develop and evaluate approaches using machine learning, graph networks, and AI.
• Own structured proofs of concept for third-party identity and measurement vendors and provide build-vs-buy recommendations.
• Translate technical findings and tradeoffs into actionable recommendations for Product, Engineering, and leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of total experience with hands-on data-driven research and development.
• Experience designing incrementality experiments, A/B tests, and impact assessments.
• Ability to build production-grade pipelines and own code from research through deployment.
• Fluency in Python and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a similar quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical tradeoffs to cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML-based entity resolution, embeddings, probabilistic matching, and hierarchical clustering.
• Experience with graph databases and analytics, including Neo4j, Spanner, PuppyGraph, or NetworkX.
• Knowledge of multi-touch attribution, cross-channel measurement, device fingerprinting, cross-device identity, and cookie-less identity resolution.
• Experience evaluating identity or data enrichment vendors and familiarity with affiliate, ad tech, or performance marketing data.
• Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Databricks, or Spark.
• Knowledge of privacy-preserving identity techniques such as differential privacy, hashing, and clean rooms.
