Data Scientist I - CX Analytics (AI)

Location: Portland, Maine, USA; campus-based hybrid role

Salary: $60,500–$123,400 base salary annually

What you will do

• Design and execute analytical solutions using statistical, optimization, simulation, and data mining methods.
• Integrate large-volume data from DB2, SQL Server, Web API, and Teradata to create data assets and perform analyses.
• Validate, aggregate, and reconcile data to build modeling-ready frameworks.
• Construct machine learning models for explanation, forecasting, risk scoring, and clustering.
• Interpret results and communicate findings and business value to managers and stakeholders.
• Support the integration of analytical solutions into business processes through automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field preferred, with approximately two years of professional or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with programming, APIs, file I/O, databases, analysis libraries, Jupyter notebooks, or statistical packages.
• Knowledge of data visualization, statistical inference, regression, and introductory machine learning techniques including random forests and neural networks.
• Experience writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries across multiple tables or databases.
• Basic communication skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work in the campus-based hybrid arrangement in Portland, Maine, USA.

• Exposure to process mapping, scripting for automation, data mining, and web scraping.
