Technical Consultant (EHR)

Location: Onsite in Overland Park, Kansas, United States; up to 20% travel may be required, with occasional extended or irregular hours to support clients and projects across multiple time zones.

What you will do

• Implement technically focused solutions across multiple Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms.
• Design, develop, and support reports, forms, interfaces, and related system components.
• Consult with clients on technical designs, data structures, reporting, and system behavior.
• Support technical setup, configuration, data migrations, data transfer testing, and data validation.
• Lead client and third-party vendor discussions on data mapping and integrations.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data, and integration issues across pre-production and production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant information systems, computer science, data analytics, or similar field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least one year of healthcare information technology, systems management implementation, or consulting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and technical design skills.
• Experience or knowledge related to EHRs, HL7-based interfaces, SQL, relational databases, data migrations, reporting, or analytics is preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite in Overland Park, Kansas.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
