Training Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Pottsville, Pennsylvania, USA; regular attendance on company premises is required

What you will do

• Oversee employee onboarding, qualification, continuing development, and regulatory training programs.
• Design and implement training for operations, maintenance, and laboratory departments.
• Conduct gap analyses, update SOPs and certification processes, and implement training best practices.
• Manage the learning management system as subject matter expert and administrator.
• Track training compliance and support customer and accrediting agency audits.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, functional managers, and other training departments to improve workforce capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, education, human resources, or a related field, or a CPLP/CPTD or similar certification.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible training, learning and development, workforce development, or manufacturing leadership experience, or at least 3 years developing curricula and training programs.
• Experience with adult learning principles, instructional design, curriculum development, LMS platforms, manufacturing processes, and shop-floor operations.
• Knowledge of training effectiveness measurement, workforce analytics, quality systems, compliance requirements, and EHS training standards.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, project management, organizational, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, automotive, chemical, or related production environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and manufacturing systems.
