Learning And Development Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Richmond, Utah, United States; onsite plant-based role. The schedule may include off-shift and weekend hours, and some travel may be necessary.

Salary: $66,000–$90,800 per year.

What you will do

• Manage plant-wide training programs from concept through implementation and delivery.
• Analyze training needs and develop or improve programs covering orientation, safety, quality, SOPs, SSOPs, SOCs, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, equipment ownership, and skills reviews.
• Develop training materials, OJT checklists, objective skills reviews, and Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Partner with department managers and supervisors to identify employee training needs and support team development.
• Oversee SOP and SOC tools for major equipment and maintain accessible education and training records.
• Analyze training results and support turnover reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in training coordination or administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and learning management systems or other training software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety regulations is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish skills.
• Experience with Alchemy or Red Zone learning software.
