Continuous Improvement Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Groveland, FL; travel up to 5%. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States — sponsorship is not available, now or in the future.

Salary: $65k–$85k base (negotiable), plus a monthly bonus based on productivity and profits.

What you will do

• Review internal quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop solutions to prevent recurrence
• Spend most of the day on the production floor observing manufacturing, identifying waste, and implementing permanent Safety, Quality, and Production improvements
• Organize and lead multi-team Kaizen events to improve workstation organization, workflow, and throughput
• Lead cross-functional teams implementing 6S projects and coach others on Kaizen, lean manufacturing, and 6S methodologies
• Collaborate with plant management and the corporate Continuous Improvement Lead to standardize processes and maximize productivity
• Implement error-proofing processes to ensure consistent high-quality products

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a quality focus
• 4-year technical degree in an electrical, electronics, or mechanically oriented curriculum
• Experience analyzing data and identifying trends
• Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work standing for extended periods, use ladders and tools, and lift 35–50 lbs independently
