Location: Houston, Texas, United States. The role requires domestic travel of up to 10% and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Lead industrial engineering initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, capacity, and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyze workflows, labor utilization, equipment, layouts, and production data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct time studies, work measurement, line balancing, staffing analyses, and labor-standard development.
  • Develop standardized work, process flows, workstation layouts, facility layouts, and material-flow improvements.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, visual management, and waste-elimination methods.
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects, develop capacity models and business cases, and communicate recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, process, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5–7 years of industrial, process, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering experience.
  • Capability in Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, Kaizen methodology, and quality control.
  • Experience analyzing operational data, identifying root causes, developing countermeasures, and monitoring implemented solutions.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
  • Ability to work in Houston, Texas, and travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
