What you will do

• Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Control Plans, inspection checklists, Critical to Quality parameters, and Q-gates.
• Monitor First Pass Yield metrics and implement improvements to product quality and production efficiency.
• Analyze customer complaints and product defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams during customer audits, Factory Acceptance Tests, and UL, CSA, and ISO certification audits.
• Perform Cost of Poor Quality analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Map manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with FMEA, the 7 QC tools, 5S, 5 Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC, and 8D root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with UL1561, NEMA ST-20, IEEE C57.12.01, IEEE C57.12.91, DOE 2016, UL891, and CSA C22.2 standards.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is desirable.
• Must already have US work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global in the United States.
