Continuous Improvement Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Based in Lexington, Minnesota, United States. The new facility opens in 2027; onboarding and training will take place in Blaine or Anoka, Minnesota until the facility opens.

Salary: $76,000–$141,100 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events from initial scoping through implementation and long-term sustainment.
• Apply Lean methodologies to reduce waste, improve material and information flow, and optimize production-floor processes.
• Drive initiatives focused on cost reduction, ihirify.globalory accuracy, productivity, cycle time, and throughput.
• Observe production, warehouse, receiving, inspection, and material-flow processes to identify and implement practical improvements.
• Develop standard work, visual management, and daily management practices to sustain improvements and accountability.
• Train and coach operators, supervisors, and cross-functional partners on Lean principles and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience leading Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Practical experience with Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, takt time analysis, material and information flow, and root-cause problem solving.
• Ability to quantify and communicate cost savings, productivity gains, and waste reduction.
• Ability to coach others, influence across functions, and work effectively with frontline teams and supervisors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Visio.
